Cloverdale House by Di Ford Hall

This much antisipated fabric range has just arrived and has not disappointed.
Beautiful rich reds, mustards/yellows, creams, greens, browns and teals are so gorgeous I am certainly going to have a piece of all of them.

These pillar prints are to die for in cream, teal and red.........
lovely stripes and florals all combine to make this one of the nicest ranges this year.

Available now on line.....Click here to view all fabrics

Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the Canberra Quilt and Craft Fair that made me so welcome.
I had a fantastic show meeting new people and the comments from you all were lovely....so I will be back in 2016.
Unfortunately I just didn't have time to take pictures of the show but did take one of this cutest little caravan with the best Cheese cake patty cakes.

I didn't get time for any others as I was on my own and was just busy, busy, busy.

Last night saw me quilting those small stars that I had made a few days ago.
They have become a table runner....pattern and kits available soon...

Above is my friend Linda's version of my pattern "Miss Elizabeth"...looking great in shades of greens...
And this lovely one belongs to Gloria in pretty 1930's fabrics.
Both are stunning and can't wait to see them quilted and complete.

"Chatsworth"

A few weeks back I posted an image of a new quilt that I have started...."Chatsworth" I have decided to call it.

I began with a central paper pieced circle....

Followed by some "Secret Centre Sewing".....

Adding the first border.....

I am happy now that this border is in place.....I had hand pieced this border the first time....however it just didn't want to fit....so onto the next option and it fitted just perfectly.
Today I will be outlining and making fabric choices for the next border.....Needle turn applique....
stay tuned for the next instalment...

Thought I would leave you with this image of a sunset  through the Jacaranda trees I took at my place some weeks ago....
