Bubble and Squeak

Hi and Welcome....So happy to share my new pattern...."Bubble and Squeak" with you.
It has such a warm and fuzzy feel to it....I just love how scrap quilts make me feel.
A great quilt for quilters of all levels using your fabric stash only...and of course the more diverse your scraps the better they look.
The border and binding fabric is the beautiful Eliza's Indigo fabric by Betsy Chutchian for Moda (you will need 80cm) and the blue fabric for the tiny squares is Alice's Scrapbag by Barbara Brackman for Moda (30cm)....both of which I still have some left.

The finished quilt measures 44" x 52" but of course you can make it bigger if you wish.
The pattern instructions have lots of colour images for you and comes complete with Mylar templates so there is no need to fuss around cutting your own....to purchase your copy Click Here.

Adding to the "Stash"

Welcome,

We all know how important it is to keep our "Stash" at a level where we just don't know which fabric to use first, last or in the middle.

And we all know how important it is to have those fabrics that we just can't bear to put the cutter through.

So as not to disappoint you I have added some lovely fabrics to my stash and I am happy to share them with you!

There are some "soft and pretties" for those who like to keep it so.....and for those of you who just cant get enough of those "civil war and reproduction fabrics" then there is some for you as well.

soft and pretty

Now here is a sneak peek at what is coming later in the year....

Also new for later in the year are these 3 beauties....

take a peek

I just couldn't resist using those lovely new fabrics.....Paint Box by Laundry Basket Quilts mixed with a little French General.....and what else, I havn't quite decided yet.

This is the first peek at the new sewing book I am working on. It is just evolving at the moment, thats the exciting part about stitching....you never quite know what will be next!

I am loving the chintz fabric the most.
Not so sure about those nasty 1/4" hexagons though.
Hope to have this ready for Springwood Quilt show at the end of April!!

La Belle Fluer fabric by French General

Welcome,

What a lovely surprise today to find the latest French General fabric by Moda.....
"La Belle Fleur" perched on my doorstep.
Opening the box with much enthusiasm I wasn't disappointed at the beautiful teal, french blue and reds just wishing me to get started on another project. Wonderfull birds and florals for quilt centres or border prints to fussy cut.....something to tempt all who looks upon them.
Alas I have nothing in mind for this fabric at the moment but you possibly might when you take a peek!

Dancing in the Rain

Welcome,
Here we are and it is already midway through January. I hope the rest of the year doesn't disappear so quickly as I have so much to do!
Last week we had a terribly hot day ( I hate the heat) here and to put a smile on my face the delivery man knocked on my door and left me a box of lovely new fabrics from Moda.
Now these fabrics were meant to be here in December and I do apologise to those ladies who pre-ordered fabric but somethings are just beyond my control.
Anyway they are here now and these fabrics are just as lovely as I thought they would be!
"Dancing in the Rain" by Laundry Basket Quilts provides a selection of old world fabrics in blue, cream, butterscotch and a lovely terracotta with just a tinge of pink to it....I can't wait to use these.
"Old Glory Gatherings" by Primitive Gatherings are two fabrics that just fit perfectly with "Dancing in the Rain". You couldn't have asked for 10 more lovely fabrics.

All of these fabrics are now available so click here to purchase.

Special Offer.

Buy the combined fat 1/8th pack of "Dancing in the Rain" and "Old Glory Gatherings" and save 20%.

There are only 20 packs available so be quick.
